As I head off to Purdue University ithis Fall, I reflect on my time at CB West, my friends, and my family. I am fortunate for a lot of things including the honor of winning the Kind Like Joey Scholarship. I am both excited and nervous to be starting this new chapter of my life, but I’m confident that I am ready to take this step.

Recently, I had a conversation with one of my friends from CB South who was friends with Joey, and he told me about all the joy Joey brought to the world. He was someone who was approachable and treated everyone with kindness. I have always strived to treat others the way Joey did, and when I saw this scholarship opportunity, I knew that this was the right fit for me. After learning about Joey's impact, I am inspired to carry on his kindhearted nature into the future at Purdue University.

It’s safe to say that Joey’s legacy will live on for generations to come in Central Bucks schools and beyond.
